I am Robbin Anapolle. I am co-director with Diana Hovhannisyan and lead teacher for the four-year-old class. I have a bachelor's degree in education from Central Michigan University and many post-graduate level courses in early childhood education. I have been teaching the fours since 2010. Prior to that I taught the 3’s for 10 years. When I first started teaching at BCNS, my daughter was in the four-year-old class. Now my granddaughter attends BCNS. I love the sense of family at BCNS as well as working with the entire family. It is such a thrill helping the children learn and grow.

Diana Hovhannisyan, Co-Director, Lead Teacher, Fireflies Class (age 3)
Hi, my name is Diana Hovhannisyan and I have been with BCNS for 9 years. I am currently co-director with Robbin Anapolle and the lead teacher for the Fireflies class. I first found BCNS in 2008 when I was looking for a school for my daughter. She is in 7th grade now and I am still here. I immediately felt a connection to the school and unique sense of community that exists among the parents and staff. I have a bachelor's degree in Russian language and literature and education. I am also teacher of the Lunch Bunch Drama class and am eager to share my love of reading with children. My favorite part of the job is watching a young child learn something new, knowing that I have been a force behind that growth. I especially enjoy the excellent multicultural environment at BCNS and look forward to meeting new families.

Lakshmi Rallabhandi, Lead Teacher, Fish & Frogs Classes (age 2)
Hi, my name is Lakshmi Rallabhandi. I have been working at BCNS for 14 years. I have a bachelor’s degree in history and have completed the 90-hour child development course. Over this time I have seen many of my students grow up and become successful in school. I also have two children of my own: a son who went to BCNS when he was a toddler and is now in 12th grade and a daughter who is a senior in college. Over my years of working here, I have really come to love BCNS and truly hope that you and your families fall in love with this school as well.

Ellen McCormick, Assistant Teacher, Caterpillars Class
Hello. I am Ellen McCormick. I am the assistant teacher in the Caterpillar class. hold a degree in journalism from Temple University. I originally joined the BCNS community when my son, Simon, became a member of the Fish class at the age of two. enjoyed co-oping and working with the children so much that when the opportunity to became an assistant teacher was presented to me, I eagerly accepted. I love working at BCNS. I believe that the small class sizes (8 to 16 students) with both a head teacher and a teacher assistant per class allows teachers to truly develop a relationship with each child.
